Wicked Alum Shoshana Bean to Join Jason Robert Brown for 54 Below Concert

Broadway belter Shoshana Bean will join Tony-winning composer/lyricist Jason Robert Brown for his upcoming concert engagement at 54 Below in September, according to Brown’s Twitter page. 

Brown will play the Times Square nightclub September 11-15. The show will feature material from Brown’s upcoming musicals The Bridges of Madison County, Honeymoon in Vegas and his forthcoming CD, Caravan of Angel, as well as tunes from Songs for a New World, Parade and The Last 5 Years.

Bean is best known for her run as Elphaba in the Broadway and touring productions of the musical Wicked. She also appeared on in the original Broadway cast of Hairspray and the 2000 off-Broawday revival of Godspell. She released her debut solo album, Superhero, in 2008.
